Confidence and posture Specialist

Dora is a theatre coach, actor and yoga teacher with over seven years’ experience working in these industries. She moved to London from Newcastle aged 16 upon receiving a place at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools London. Since graduating, receiving both a diploma, a BA (hons) and the award for excellence in Musical Theatre, Dora went on to work in theatres across the UK and in London. Roles include ‘Juliet’ in Romeo and Juliet with the Young Shakespeare Company and ‘Princess’ in Aladdin at the Duke’s Playhouse. Having practiced yoga daily from the age of nineteen, Dora felt passionately about becoming a teacher. She is certified with the East London School of Yoga and with AcroYoga International in Acroyoga, a style combining yoga, acrobatics and thai massage. When she is not performing, she teaches regular classes at yoga studios and gyms across London. She also manages a Performing Arts Academy in the heart of London, and coaches private students in subjects such as public speaking.

Having a wealth of experience across both the yoga and theatre industries, Dora is able to help you improve your confidence and posture through a range of different exercises, from the internal perspectives of yoga to working from the outside in with theatrically-inspired assignments. Workshops and classes are always tailor-made to suit the individual needs, and will explore a wealth of techniques which are easy to learn, remember and make use of whenever required. Whether you’re looking to gain more confidence for the workplace, improve your posture following a long term injury, or simply devote some time to working on yourself, Dora can facilitate the ideal workshop for you
