London Fashion Week (LFW) is one of the highest profile fashion events in the world. One of the Big Four international catwalk influencers.

Trend setting fashion designer and high fashion model, Danish Wakeel is exhibiting his brand new collection, "Retrogression" at one of London's most iconic hotels. The GORE hotel since 1892, is a memorably British, quintessential boutique hotel. Offering high end luxury and undeniable character with history, heritage and tradition in London. 

Danish Wakeel describes his widely anticipated collection "Retrogression" as luxurious and self-indulgence, inspired by drugs, decadence and debauchery. 

Merriment and absolute indulgence will stir as the pre-show introduces networking between musicians, dancers, designers, models, photographers and press interviews. Our elated guests are going to be delighted as always. Exspect not only succulent and tempting performances prior to the catwalk, but an enigmatic powerhouse of creativity and art for the most magnificent afterparty.

We are looking for fresh new radiant faces with a positive aura, vigor and passion for the world of Vogue. The casting/audition is an alluring proposition not only for fashion models but make up artists, hair stylists, photographers, videographers,ushers and helpers to assist us with the smooth running for the entire show. The selected photographers and videographers will be given the best slots for the catwalk as the ramp this time will be highly creative. we are looking for a powerhouse of creativity and passionate professional individuals with an adoration and fascination for fashion to contribute to the show with a lot of zest .

A panel of the following judges who are high achievers and are accomplished personalities from the world fashion will have the final word for the model selection to walk the ramp.

Roger Dearden- Postgrad lecturer,fashion designer,forecaster and illustrator.
Walter Stojash- A celebrity high fashion stylist

Model Requirements 

Male models - 5.11 - 6.2 muscular build 

Female Models - 5.8 and above dress size 8-10 

All models please wear tight fitted clothing and vest top so we can see your shape.

Please bring with you your model card/comp card/ model business card if you do not have this then please print out your main profile image and put down your measurements and contact details on the back.

Model casting in between 6pm and 9pm

Fashion designer and model Danish Wakeel for the first time ever is hosting a Deluxe Vogue Christmas party for the London Model Academy at the exquisite Rise Super Club in Mayfair, London. The designer with alot of pride has reserved the entire VIP area for sumptuous celebrations of this year's Christmas by juxtaposing chic with the Christmastide. The exclusive arriving guests will be directed straight with a VIP wrist band to a specially reserved 'Danish Wakeel' VIP floor to enjoy the event.
A complimentary entry with a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival for each guest is a way of showing gratitude by the fashion designer/ model Danish Wakeel for all the love, adulation and appreciation received throughout the year by Londoners.

Danish Wakeel is a London based fashion designer and a high fashion model, who studied at London College of Fashion and graduated with a MA in menswear design. Danish has modeled for leading international brands – Fred and Ginger, Core Spirit, John Peter London, Anoosh London,Inonectima London, Schwarzkopf EL/Essential Looks , Tony and Guy to name just a few from a long list of the brands he has endorsed and modeled during London Fashion Week and Clothes show in Birmingham including countless brands of Asian and ethnic wear. While at college, the young and ambitious Wakeel showcased several high fashion concept driven collections in the local London fashion scene from underwear to outerwear and gained himself a great amount of popularity. Currently Danish Wakeel in London is indulged in his fashion brand and apart from conventional mediums like runway shows and photoshoots he makes films for his collection. His latest fashion feature film called 'The Island' had an auspicicious red-carpet and premeire at Leicester Square in London and was covered by local and international press along with the fashionistas and film crowds from UK.
